I though "oh, this is a animated 3D bird"Roberto Sánchezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11802455961410041512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068198388134099737.post-18189757497920560452011-11-17T22:54:52.624-07:002011-11-17T22:54:52.624-07:00Aside from the funny actors, I like the movie beca...Aside from the funny actors, I like the movie because of the story about bird watching. That is one of my hobbies. Ang I was surprised that they used Kowa BD series binoculars which I've aslo been using. The BD performed exceptionally well as he checked off over 740 species including his sought after Great Gray Owl and Pink-footed Goose. Great choice! https://www.facebook.com/kowaopticsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068198388134099737.post-56480718963060993852011-11-03T00:26:33.225-06:002011-11-03T00:26:33.225-06:00Thanks for the review! It's interesting seeing the film from a birders point of view.

As someone who knows next to nothing about birds, I thought the CG-created birds were pretty good. It was only the woodpecker (Black spotted woodpecker? The one they see after the car crash) that I noticed some unnatural movements.yichellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13314302470572241015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068198388134099737.post-32300118776491924762011-10-16T08:55:14.192-06:002011-10-16T08:55:14.192-06:00Had dinner with a bunch of Audubon folks from Linc...Had dinner with a bunch of Audubon folks from Lincoln City last night followed by going to the movie together. We sat at dinner with a couple who had been with them on Attu in 1998 - it was great getting their stories before the movie! And we loved the movie (all the reason you give in your blog). The birders were still sitting watching ever photo flash by at the end when the rest of the folks were long gone! Oh, and my non-birding hubby was up late looking up various places and references long after we got home. It was fun!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08680580048004451011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068198388134099737.post-2419294898673965362011-10-15T11:38:38.793-06:002011-10-15T11:38:38.793-06:00Thanks for the review! I do agree on the dorky bird calls. An iPod with a bird app would have been much more accurate.Lynne at Hasty Brookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09187035706322695138noreply@blogger.com
